Converting people to World of Warcraft… one co-worker at a time…

For the last year or so Steve C and I were the only WoW players at bit10, however we have seen a recent flurry of newcomers…

Through no particular effort by Steve and myself, Rob fell first, he in turn converted Craig and now Steph is going to give it a try!

In addition Rob has got 2 of his housemates playing it.

WoW is undoutably an awesome game, however with 6 million players worldwide and rising rapidly, but its ‘crack’ like ‘play for 5 minutes and you are hooked’ qualities are a little worrying!!

My name is Ben King, I am a director of an Internet solutions company called bit10 ltd. My ultimate responsibility is to bring in the work that bit10 delivers. However I also do a myriad of other things, for example system design, and administration. Outside work I go out, I drink, I socialise, I cook, I have fun, oh and I play a little bit too much World of Warcraft!

  1. bah, you should all get onto Final Fantasy XI,

you have a pick of 18 jobs past 30 that you can switch to at any point instead of just being stuck with 1!

Plus a new quest is adapted every month, with events and 3 main story lines to follow and unlock hidden maps, monsters and missions.
