take all of mp3 .com (in russia i think). this proves that people are willing to pay for music, even at a fraction of the cost of buying the CD. My other half used this site A LOT before it was shut down. Downloaded a lot of music he would never have come across and subsequently then bought the CD itself, making money for the music (greedy) business. 
Also, he downloads programmes he has missed or is on currently, basically because he doesn&#039;t have time to watch them when they are actually on TV.
He also downloads films, sometimes before they&#039;re in the cinema, but a lot of the time results in him buying the DVD. He buys blu rays now so they&#039;re more expensive. He owns about 600 normal DVD&#039;s and probably around 100 Blue rays now. So we really don&#039;t see the problem in downloading music, tv programmes and films!!!
