Apple – an apology – fake psu’s

So a bit more investigation reveals that the two troublesome psus are fakes, ordered from an Amazon store (www.gr8.com).

Side by side, there are some obvious differences.

A quick way reveals that the fake is a couple of grams lighter as well.

Sorry Apple!

Unbelievably, another iPhone psu has gone pop, literally! One of the compact plug psus powering a iPhone dock with my housemates iPhone in it went with an audible bang and now is a charred version of it’s former self.

That’s £42 you now owe me Apple.
